Pineapple cannot be sold in the local market due to movement control order in Malaysia

The dumping of Josephine pineapple in Malaysia makes many suppliers no longer sell for profit but only to cover the cost of crops. This dumping has been getting worse since the 2nd movement control order throughout Malaysia which started in December. This makes the hotel which is the main buyer of pineapple does not operate and does not buy pineapple from local suppliers. The movement control order in Malaysia is currently extended until march 2021.
