The Brazilian Animal Protein Association (ABPA) was informed by the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply about the opening of the Singapore market for pork giblets produced in Brazil.

The authorization is valid for all Brazilian units authorized to export pork to Singapore. Currently, 29 plants are able to ship bone-in and boneless pork to this destination.

The Asian country, which is already a consolidated importer of Brazilian pork, increased its purchases in 2020. Third main destination (behind only China and Hong Kong), Singapore imported 32 thousand tons between January and July, a volume 49% higher than that achieved in the first seven months of 2019.
