FCOJ production for 2021-22 could rise to 1.12 million mt, a 15-20% increase YoY due to an expected increase in production and growing domestic consumption. Recent data point to a scenario of deficiency, in which the production volume of orange juice by the end of the current season could be inadequate to supply the international market until the middle of next season. To sustain the international market until the end of the MY 2022-23, a volume of about 230,000 mt is required, yet Brazil’s orange juice stocks may only reach between 105,000 and 125,000 mt.
