Between September 2020 and February 2021, Egypt experienced a rise in its agricultural crop exports, totaling $1.1 billion and 1,837,000 tons, which is an increase from the previous year. The exports were led by potatoes, onions, tomatoes, and dry beans, with Saudi Arabia, Russia, and the United Arab Emirates being the primary importers. The export value of medicinal and aromatic plants reached $47 million, placing it among the top 15 export commodities.
