1.1 million BGN allocated for the sale of Bulgarian beef

The Management Board of the DF "Agriculture" decided to grant up to BGN 1,100,000 de minimis aid to cover the costs of slaughtering, transport and administrative documents in the "Beef" sector. The financial support is at the request of branch representatives of the beef cattle sector, taking into account the unfavorable economic conditions at the moment in connection with the increased costs of feeding animals and growth of consumables used in primary production. It should be noted that the fattening and production of veal and beef, which are an important segment of the economy, are not subject to support under the interventions of the Strategic Plan for the Development of Rural Areas 2023 - 2027. The purpose of the aid is to help local producers sell their cattle. Cattle intended for slaughter must have been reared for at least the last 4 months up to the date of slaughter on the farm of the farmer who is an aid applicant.
