In the first quarter of this year, Turkey's chili pepper exports saw a significant increase, reaching $3.597 million, a 24% rise compared to the same period last year, with exports extending to 67 countries. The total exports for the previous year amounted to $12.226 million, catering to 99 countries, with Germany, the USA, and the Netherlands being the top importers. This growth in exports is particularly encouraging for producers and exporters, especially in the aftermath of the challenges posed by natural disasters such as earthquakes and floods. The industry is optimistic about a productive season ahead and anticipates continued expansion in the global market, underscoring the increasing international demand for Turkish chili peppers.
