In a recent period, Turkey saw significant growth in its honey exports, reaching 47 countries and free zones, generating an income of $11.48 million from exports of 3,700 tons of honey. The United States, Germany, and Spain were the primary recipients of these exports, contributing to $3.96 million, $3 million, and $608,580 of the revenue, respectively. Notably, honey was also exported to countries such as Slovenia, the Philippines, the Czech Republic, France, Albania, Nepal, Switzerland, and Morocco, which were not recipients the previous year. The Eastern Black Sea Exporters Association aims to further increase honey exports, with the European Union and Japan identified as key target markets.
