China has approved the import of Vietnamese frozen durian, opening up a new market for the industry. However, companies involved in exporting must adhere to strict food safety and plant quarantine regulations set by the General Administration of Customs of China (GACC). These regulations include having a recognized food safety management system by GACC, complying with inspection and quarantine requirements, and ensuring traceability of the product. Exporters are also required to train employees in operating the HACCP system and prevent product contamination. The registration license for these businesses is valid for five years.
