Grain, legume and oilseed exports from the Kursk region in January 2024 saw a nearly fivefold increase compared to the same period last year, totaling 159 thousand tons. The most exported crops included wheat, corn, and malting barley, among others. The grain, which was tested for quality and safety by the Kursk branch of the Federal State Budgetary Institution “Center for Grain Quality Assessment”, was exported to countries such as Latvia, Belarus, Serbia, Kazakhstan, and Poland.
