Egypt: 2,305,579 birds slaughtered in Ismailia last November

The Veterinary Medicine Directorate in Ismailia Governorate carried out intensive activities throughout last November to preserve livestock and poultry wealth and increase their productivity. Dr. Hamed Musa Al-Aqnas, Director of the Veterinary Medicine Directorate in Ismailia, said that in the field of public health and slaughterhouses, meat slaughters were monitored with 1,746 heads of cattle, and poultry slaughters with a total of 2,305,579 birds. 215 kg of sheep and goats were also seized, with valid meat records, 20 kg of poultry, 202 kg of head, entrails and fat, 44 kg of processed meat were also seized with unfit meat records, and 550 kg of poultry, 36 kg of fish, and 189 kg of liver were seized with sample collection records.
