A heat wave in South Korea has led to the death of over 28,000 livestock in Jeonnam province within a week, with temperatures expected to rise further. The province has also reported 58 cases of heat illness. The meteorological authority predicts that the heatwave will persist, with temperatures reaching up to 35 degrees Celsius. High temperature warnings have been issued for several bays, and tropical nights with minimum temperatures above 25 degrees have been recorded. Residents are advised to avoid outdoor activities during the hottest hours and hydrate well.
