Since the start of the year, the Moscow Region has seen a 17.8% increase in quail egg production, reaching 31 million, an increase of 4.7 million from the previous year. The region is home to a total quail population of 313 thousand, with 237 thousand being breeding stock, marking a 72 thousand increase from last year. The largest quail egg producers in the region include OOO Shepilovskaya Poultry Farm in Serpukhov and OOO Genofond in the Sergiev Posad urban district. Quail eggs are rich in essential nutrients such as amino acids, vitamins A, D, and B, calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, iron, potassium, and selenium.
