Between January and October of 2025, the Ministry of Housing, Construction and Sanitation, through the National Rural Housing Program, delivered 325 rural "Wasiymi" homes in the Junín region, benefiting 1,300 people in vulnerable situations, with an investment exceeding S/16 million. These homes, distributed in the provinces of Chanchamayo, Jauja, Junín, and Satipo, were designed with bioclimatic criteria that allow families to protect themselves from the cold, a phenomenon that severely affects the rural areas of the jungle with sharp temperature drops, strong winds, heavy rains, and electrical storms. "The most vulnerable families will continue to receive all the support from the Government.
