In Turkey, 34% of the tractors registered in traffic are located in the 10 cities where agricultural production is abundant. According to the 'Motor Land Vehicles' statistics released by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) for September of this year, tractors accounted for 1.8% of the vehicles registered in traffic in September. The number of vehicles registered in traffic in September increased by 13.6% compared to the previous month for tractors, while it decreased by 43.1% compared to the same month last year. Out of the 2 million 303 thousand 621 tractors in Turkey, approximately 34%, or 776 thousand 687, are located in the top 10 cities. With Afyonkarahisar reaching 50 thousand 422, the number of cities with 50 thousand tractors increased to 11, while each of the top 10 cities uses over 60 thousand tractors.
