The Ministry of Agriculture in Kazakhstan is working on a Roadmap to boost forage production, focusing on expanding irrigated land, improving seed production, purchasing agricultural machinery, and enhancing pasture land productivity. The area under forage crops has grown to over 3.2 million hectares in 2024, occupying about 14% of the arable land. The ministry aims to produce 24.5 million tons of hay, among other products, with actual production surpassing the plans by November 18. The country's forage supply situation is predicted to remain stable.
