60 thousand tons of sugar beet remained under snow in Sivas, Turkey

Approximately 60 thousand tons of uprooted sugar beets harvested in Sivas in October were buried under snow due to delayed shipments. Stating that uprooted beets buried under snow due to snowfall caused 5 to 10 percent loss, producers stated that this situation harmed both their own economy and the country's economy.
