700 breeding goats were handed over to farmers in Dong Thap and Vinh Long provinces in Vietnam

Implement the National Agricultural Extension Project on building models of goat husbandry for meat in some provinces in the Mekong Delta in 2021 - 2023, Center for Agricultural Services, Management of Irrigation and Water Works Dong Thap rural clean-up in collaboration with Vinh Long Agricultural Technical Service Center implemented the model of goat-raising for meat in Dong Thap and Vinh Long provinces with a scale of 700 heads. Accordingly, the Center for Agricultural Service, Management and Exploitation of Irrigation Works and Rural Clean Water in Dong Thap Province has coordinated with the Agricultural Service Center of Tan Hong and Thap Muoi districts; People's Committees of communes: Tan Cong Chi, Tan Phuoc, My Quy, Doc Binh Kieu support goat breeds for 9 households participating in the model with the number of 400 goats for meat (Bach Thao hybrid Boer goat with the number of 10 - 110 children/household).
