The Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality in Turkey has launched the 'Fed Plant Seed Support Project' to boost agriculture and animal husbandry, offering 75% grant-aided seed support to farmers in the fall. The project has aided 3,323 farmers, providing 1,450 tons of seed support, including barley, milkweed, and fodder peas. This has allowed farmers to increase their yields by 30%, as shown by the satisfaction of farmers like Hikmet Öztürk and Alibey Koyun from the Kartepe district. The municipality's financial investment in agriculture over the past five years has amounted to approximately 1 billion TL, supporting 100 thousand decares of agricultural land.
