Eight European organizations of farmers and processors are calling for more serious protection of European agricultural production and guarantees for achieving European standards by Ukrainian farmers following the implementation of the Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area (DCFTA) between the EU and Ukraine. Among them are the European Sugar Manufacturers' Association (CEFS), the Association of Poultry Traders' Processors in the EU countries (AVEC), the European Corn Producers' Confederation (CEPM), the International Confederation of European Beet Producers (CIBE), the farmers' organization COPA-COGECA, the European Union for Wholesale Trade in Eggs, Egg Products, Poultry, and Game (EUWEP), the European Association for Renewable Ethanol (ePURE), and the European Association for Industrial and Food Ethanol (iEthanol).
