According to the Minister of Agriculture, the majority of Spain's cheese exports are made up of Queso Manchego, accounting for 85% of the 13.6 million kilos of quality cheese exported. The value of these cheese exports is around 188.7 million euros, with 167.3 million euros coming from Manchego cheese. The Minister also announced plans for a strategic plan for livestock farming, specifically focusing on purebred La Mancha sheep to support production and ensure the viability of farms in the future.
