A 60th Anniversary Celebration for Trout Farming Will Be Held

The Korea Trout Farming Association (President Son Hee-ryun) will hold its 60th Anniversary Commemoration Ceremony and 3rd Advancement Conference on the 12th and 13th at the Hywon Grand Hotel in Gangwon Province. The Trout Farming Association will hold a commemorative ceremony marking 60 years since introducing trout roe from the United States in 1965 and beginning domestic farming, and will present awards and appreciation plaques to those with distinguished service. Following this, the association will host an advancement conference to facilitate information exchange among trout farmers and explore sustainable trout farming development strategies.
