The Ministry of Agriculture in Bulgaria has reported a significant increase in the yields of pink flowers and lavender. The country has seen a 38.6% increase in the harvest of rose oil, with an 11% rise in the average yield per hectare. The purchase price of roses has also doubled compared to last year. Lavender harvesting has also started, with over 500% increase in harvested areas and over 700% increase in production by the end of June. The expected purchase price for lavender is set to improve, starting at BGN 70 and BGN 100/kg.
