[Reporter Lee Woo-jung, Korea Farmers and Fishermen Newspaper] The "Republic of Korea Hanwoo Eating Day" event, held in collaboration with Gangwon Hanwoo, took place over three days from November 7 to November 9 at Chuncheon Riverside Park. This event was organized and hosted by the Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province Branch of the National Hanwoo Association, with cooperation from the Gangwon Hanwoo Cooperative Corporation, the Chuncheon-Cheorwon-Hwacheon-Yanggu Livestock Cooperative, and the Goat, Sheep, and Poultry Association, among others. It was set up as a festival-style venue to promote consumption with both producers and consumers participating. During the event, consumers were able to purchase high-quality "Gangwon Hanwoo," which had won the President's Award three times in the livestock brand competition, at a discounted price of up to 30%. At the promotional booths of the associations, goat juice, honey, and eggs were also available.
