In 2023, Primorsky Krai, Russia's leading fish consuming region, exported over 15% of its goods to the Republic of Belarus in the form of finished fish, crustaceans, and mollusks. The majority of these exports were fish and seafood. The RRPK holding, which includes the Russian Pollock plant, contributes about 3,000 tons to these exports annually by processing raw materials into products like fillets, caviar, and surimi mince. The region plans to further grow its fishery and processor exports to friendly countries and promote domestic deep-processed white fish products domestically.
