Alina and her husband began their journey in the agricultural business in 2021 by leasing 450 hectares of land. In 2022, their district was occupied, and the couple was able to start implementing their plans after the de-occupation, sowing the land only in 2023. Alina participated in the TalentA 2024-2025 program and won a grant to purchase equipment for a grain processing plant to manufacture groats. By the end of the year, they plan to manufacture and package 20 tons of groats and enter into contracts with compound feed producers for the supply of coarsely ground grain, meal, and cake.
In addition, part of the production, about 3 tons of groats annually, will be distributed through village councils and charitable organizations to vulnerable populations.
