A new breed of trotting horses has appeared in Ukraine

The expert commission of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy conducted an approbation and approved a new breeding achievement in livestock breeding - the Ukrainian trotting breed of horses. This was reported by the press service of the department. It is noted that the approval of the new breed took place in the Myrhorod district of the Poltava region at the farm of the Dibriv Horse Breeding No. 62 branch of the State Enterprise "Konyarstvo of Ukraine". Work on the creation of the Ukrainian trotting breed was carried out for 30 years. "The Ukrainian trotting breed was created on the basis of a population of trotting horses of domestic selection by the method of targeted selection for liveliness, distance, exterior indicators and the use of introductory corrective crossing with American standardbred and French trotting breeds," the message says.
