A new vegetable on Polish and European tables, it's neither zucchini nor cucumber

Crossbreeding is a practice known for centuries, thanks to which humanity has created an impressive number of cultivated plants. This time, as part of a five-year cooperation with the Andalusian Institute for Research and Training in Agriculture and Fisheries (IFAPA), the Beyond Seeds Group has introduced a new vegetable to its offer. It is a cross between a zucchini and a cucumber and, interestingly, it retains the properties of both species, so it can be eaten raw, like a cucumber, or cooked, like zucchini. This vegetable has previously been cultivated in South America. This is where it comes from and is known as zazlito.
