The 2023/24 summer crop area in Córdoba will see a decrease in corn, sorghum, and sunflower planting, while soybeans and peanuts will see an increase of 2% and 1%, respectively. The planting of soybeans is expected to increase to 4,133,200 hectares, which is a 2% increase from the previous campaign but an 8% decrease from the historical average. Peanuts are expected to increase by 1% to 250,800 hectares, while corn, sorghum, and sunflower will see a decrease of 2%, 4%, and 13% in their planted area, respectively.
