The director of the enterprise, Hordii Mishchenko, reported this to Elevatorist.com.
According to the manager, the terminal was already transshipping soybeans in containers for the consignor. The grain is being transported to Pakistan in 20-foot containers.
Currently, the terminal has also begun working with 40-foot containers.
"Working with 40-foot containers will enable us to work with soybean meal as well. Typically, they are loaded into such containers," Mishchenko says.
The manager also reported that the terminal is being prepared for accreditation according to European ISCC standards.
"We are undergoing certification for rapeseed, for working with oilseed crops with Europe. ISCC is about working with GMO and non-GMO rapeseed that can be used for biofuel. These are the requirements of buyers to have a certified elevator, terminal, and a certified farm that produces it. We are preparing for the 2025/26 season, starting with rapeseed, and then moving on to other crops," the director of the Chornotysiv terminal added.
