A recent survey conducted by the Brazilian Association of Biscuit, Pasta, and Industrialized Bread & Cake Industries (Abimapi) reveals that bread and pasta are among the most consumed products in Brazil. The study shows that 44.5% of Brazilians consume pasta weekly, and noodles are found in 98.8% of homes in the country. Additionally, the consumption of pasta in Rio de Janeiro increased from 22% in 2022 to 26% this year, while industrialized bread is present in 94.7% of Brazilian households, with 31% of the population consuming it four times a week.
