The Brazilian Association of Vegetable Oil Industries (Abiove) released its new projection for the balance of supply and demand of the soybean complex in 2026, presenting record numbers. According to the association, soybean production is estimated at 178.5 million tons, while crushing is expected to reach 60.5 million tons. Soybean meal is expected to reach 46.6 million tons, and soybean oil 12.1 million tons. Regarding exports, projections point to new historical highs, with the expectation of 111 million tons of grains exported. Soybean meal is expected to register exports of 24.6 million tons, while soybean oil is expected to be around 1 million tons, a decrease of 25.9%.
