Me Linh district in Hanoi, heavily impacted by storm No. 3 (Yagi), is prioritizing the enhancement of winter vegetable production to satisfy the demand for green vegetables, particularly during Tet. The district aims to cultivate over 3,100 hectares for the 2024 winter crop, with Dong Cao village contributing 200 hectares. Efforts are underway to restore production, modify crop structures, and ensure food safety. Additionally, the district is focused on maintaining and expanding the production-consumption chain and collaborating with relevant agencies to stabilize the agricultural market. The Hanoi Department of Agriculture and Rural Development is supporting these efforts to ensure timely harvests and encourage investment in the agricultural sector.
