Exports of goat meat from Argentina increased by 99% in the first ten months of 2020 compared to the same period in 2019, reaching a total of 424 tons. The main importer was Sri Lanka, with Vietnam, the Bahamas, and Angola also making significant purchases. The meats were slaughtered in cold stores in several Argentine provinces, and Senasa has registered 36 open markets for the export of goat meat, including the European Union, the Eurasian Economic Union, and Singapore.
