The National Agricultural Health and Food Safety Service (Senasag) announced that a protocol for the export of chia to China will be signed next week. They also concluded a visit from Chilean officials who are considering purchasing meat and milk from Bolivia, with observations and conclusions to be shared. Representatives from Chile spent four days in the country visiting plants and fields and agreed to draft an export protocol for the sale of chia to meet the Asian country's demand of 15,000 tons.
