Between January 2020 and October 2020, Uzbekistan saw a significant increase in the export of both apples and lemons, with a total of 17.9 thousand tons of apples and nearly 6 thousand tons of lemons being exported. The main destinations for apple exports were Kazakhstan and Russia, which received 41% and 30% of the total respectively. Additionally, apple exports to Tajikistan, the United Arab Emirates, and the Czech Republic first-time saw a significant increase. As for lemon exports, Russia and Kazakhstan were the largest recipients, receiving 45% and 24% of the total respectively. There was also a notable increase in lemon exports to Afghanistan, Ukraine, Poland, and Tajikistan.
