The General Agricultural Cooperative Society ACOR, based in Olmedo (Valladolid), has started the 2025/2026 sugar beet campaign with the forecast of surpassing one million tons processed. The richness analyzed in the first 5,300 tons received exceeds 17.5%, one point more than during the previous campaign, sources from the entity have reported. The president of ACOR, Jesús Posadas, has highlighted the normality and good start in the reception of sugar beet from the nearly 10,000 hectares contracted in farms of the nine provinces of Castilla y León.
