Adana's date village turns into an open factory

In Kozan district of Adana, one of Turkey's significant production centers, the residents of the 120-household village of Minnetli contribute to the household and national economy through date production. Everyone from 7 to 70 years old in the village, working together, carries out the harvesting and date drying processes, turning the neighborhood into an open-air factory during the date season. Kozan's Minnetli Neighborhood, which accounts for approximately 20% of Turkey's fresh date (Trabzon date) production and 50% of its dried date production, has truly become a production base.
