The Italian Ministry of Agriculture has announced an additional EUR 11 million in support for pear and kiwi producers. The funding is intended to help companies that experienced a decrease in the value of their production by more than 30% compared to the previous year, with aid of EUR 1,100 per hectare for pears and EUR 1,000 per hectare for kiwis. This brings the total amount allocated to EUR 23 million for these two sectors, indicating the government's focus on supporting these important areas of national agriculture.
