The Spanish Agency for Food Safety (AESAN) issued a warning this Friday about the presence of listeria in a refrigerated meat product from the brand Nuestra Alacena, distributed by the DIA chain. The product in question is named "Chopped finas lonchas" (150 grams) and is packaged in slices; its batch number is 252771 and it has an expiration date of November 18, 2025. AESAN has recommended that individuals who have the affected products at home refrain from consuming them. The agency was informed by the Andalusian health authorities through the coordinated rapid information exchange system. The initial distribution was carried out in that community, although it is not ruled out that the product may have reached other regions. The information has been forwarded to the competent authorities to verify the withdrawal of the affected products from the marketing channels, and to the Coordination Center for Health Alerts and Emergencies.
