Indonesia officially authorized the importation of Brazilian beef after an agreement between the governments on sanitary requirements was concluded in August. The decision opened a new market for the national protein and reinforced Brazil's position as a strategic food supplier for the Asian country, which seeks to ensure food security in the face of population growth. Following the release of Brazilian beef exports to Indonesia, the Federation of Agriculture and Livestock of Mato Grosso (Famato) received, on Thursday (25), a delegation from Indonesia, led by Ambassador Edi Yusup.
