Citrus growers continue to await a more consistent return of rainfall to ensure a uniform and vigorous flowering. This is what the surveys of the Center for Advanced Studies in Applied Economics (Cepea) indicate. So far, the flowers have only opened in some dryland plots and irrigated crops. Thus, according to the Research Center, many producers are concerned about the current physiological conditions of the plants and also of the fruits that have been sent to the fresh market.
