Gyeongbuk Province in South Korea recently held a 'Strawberry Buyer Invitational Tasting Event' to promote its strawberries and evaluate their marketability in international markets. The event was attended by 15 buyers from seven countries, including Hong Kong, Vietnam, and Singapore. The province prepared a diverse schedule, including an exhibition of strawberries and specialty products, announcement of new packaging materials, and tasting and evaluation of strawberry desserts. The event was seen as a step towards increasing exports through customized marketing and quality control methods. The province is promoting the 'Berry Good Project' to restore the reputation of strawberries and develop the industry.
