Agricultural subsidies have become a lifeline for the farmer.

It was reported that 41 million lira in support payments were made to producers registered in the Farmer Registration System (FRS) in the Pazarlar District of Kütahya due to crop damage caused by agricultural frost. Speaking on the matter, Pazarlar Chamber of Agriculture President Mehmet Ali Aydoğan said, "A support payment of 41 million lira was made to 850 farmers registered in the Farmer Registration System (FRS) whose crops were damaged by the agricultural frost that occurred in 2025 and who did not have agricultural insurance. The livelihood of our district's farmers is fruit farming. When the frost hit our farmers' products, the fruits suffered approximately 80 percent to 90 percent damage.
