In February 2021, Brazil's agribusiness exports saw a 2.8% increase to $6.47 billion, despite a decrease in soybean grain exports. This growth was largely due to an increase in soybean meal, raw cane sugar, cotton, and corn exports. The sector's balance surplus reached $5.22 billion, with the soy complex being the main export sector. However, its exports fell by 15.7% due to adverse weather conditions. The meat sector also saw exports exceed $1.28 billion. The sugar and alcohol complex experienced the greatest increase in exported value among the main sectors.
