Egypt: 20 thousand acres of sugar cane in Luxor and Qena using the modern seedling and irrigation system

The joint technical committee between the Ministries of Agriculture and Irrigation held a meeting to determine the areas of sugarcane to be planted using the seedling system, advanced irrigation and modern agricultural practices, and to agree on the optimal design model and implementation mechanism. This comes in implementation of the directives of Alaa Farouk, Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation, and Dr. Hani Sweilem, Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation, at the headquarters of the Land Improvement Authority at the Ministry of Agriculture.
