The Animal Health Research Institute has initiated four free veterinary convoys that will travel through Egyptian villages in November, covering four governorates as part of the 'Bidaya' initiative by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi. These convoys aim to provide sustainable development, protect livestock, and support breeders, offering integrated veterinary services to over 3,795 heads of cattle, buffaloes, sheep, goats, and 6,100 birds. They also provide education on animal health care, biosecurity, and disease prevention, with sub-laboratories and local partnerships contributing to their organization. This initiative is expected to enhance economic returns for breeders, combat infectious diseases, and improve the living standards of rural communities.
