Agriculture grants over 60,000 euros to replant plots damaged by 'Xylella fastidiosa'

The Department of Agriculture, Water, Livestock and Fisheries has published the resolution granting aid for the year 2025 aimed at the replanting of fruit plots that have been destroyed as a consequence of measures to prevent the spread of the bacterium 'Xylella fastidiosa' in the Valencian Community. In total, 62,630 euros are allocated to 20 farmers whose crops have been destroyed, with an aid intensity that reaches 100%, covering all replanting costs. This measure reinforces the Department's commitment to the recovery of the agricultural sector and the protection of crops against emerging diseases, while promoting sustainability and productivity in the rural sector. The objective of this call is to provide support to farmers affected by the bacterium 'Xylella fastidiosa', facilitating the coverage of replanting costs with plants not sensitive to this pathogen.
