In other news, Egypt's merchandise exports have seen a 5.3% increase in the first quarter of 2024, totaling $9.612 billion, with Turkey, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE being the top receiving markets. The report highlights that building materials, food industries, chemical products, and agricultural crops were the primary sectors contributing to the exports. Notably, fresh and dried citrus fruits, nitrogen fertilizers, insulated wires and cables, and petroleum oils saw a significant increase in the structure of Egyptian exports during this period.
