Egypt: Agriculture launches a campaign to vaccinate livestock against foot-and-mouth disease and Rift Valley fever

Dr. Mamtaz Shaheen, Head of the General Authority for Veterinary Services, announced the launch of the third national campaign for the year 2024 for vaccination against foot-and-mouth disease in all governorates of the Republic, which includes vaccinating cows, buffaloes, sheep and goats against foot-and-mouth disease and Rift Valley fever. "Shaheen" said that this campaign comes within the framework of the state's efforts to preserve livestock and provide healthy and safe food for the Egyptian citizen and achieve food security.
