Mexico: Agro-food production of Puebla reaches a value of 49 thousand 578 million pesos

Of the seven states that make up the agrifood region of the center of the country - the state of Mexico, Guerrero, Hidalgo, Morelos, Tlaxcala, Mexico City and Puebla, the latter reported the highest production value. According to the document “Panorama Agroalimentario 2021”, prepared by the Agrifood and Fisheries Information Service (SIAP), the national primary sector registered a positive growth of around 2.0 percent, with the generation of 290 million tons of food, and a value greater than 241 billion pesos.
